the internet is an enabler

There are several things on the old Amazon wishlist that I’ve been wanting for a while, but I’m sure you know how the prices can fluctuate there. The best example was a set of all three seasons of Arrested Development, which would oscillate between $85 (around list price) and $45 (a damn good deal). While I like spending money, I also like getting deals. I looked around online a bit and found Camel Camel Camel. It’s a neat little site that lets you track prices on Amazon. You can bookmark a rss feed or you can sign up and have it email you when the price drops below a set point. It’s also got price charts for some items, so you can see how the price has changed over the past few months.
The only downside is that I’ve already ordered twice, and just got some more notifications this morning. Goodbye, monies.
