You are just so, so over the top. I don’t even care that half of your stuff doesn’t make any sense. Don’t ever change.

Well, it’s time for the yearly Dragoncon rundown post! It’s much later than usual because I came down with some form of con crud this year despite my best efforts. I blame the AC and dry air in our hotel room for my massive head cold.
Ok, here it is: my incredibly long and relatively detailed account of Dragoncon 2008. Enjoy!
To celebrate the new season of Venture Bros., Astrobase is releasing one exclusive shirt for every new episode. Make sure to keep up, since each shirt is only available for one week.
There’s even a subscription service for hardcore fans who want to clothe themselves only in Venture. I predict that the super special subscriber-only bonus shirt will go for lots of dollars on Ebay in the future.

Ok, so not HOURS exactly, but I’m exaggerating for the sake of humor here.
Lost Season 4 trailer. Good screencaps via ack-attack, who also does the hilarious Lost LOL recaps.
Spoiler-y stuff follows the cut (but only stuff you can already see by watching the trailer and/or looking at screencaps obsessively)
Dear Heroes writers,
Seriously guys, WTF. I stuck behind you when everyone was complaining about how slow this season was going at the beginning, and this is how you repay me? Did you not know you were going on strike until five minutes to five on a Friday? I expected it to be a little rushed at the end, but damn. The last thirty minutes felt phoned in. Try to do a better job next time, kay?
Love,
Susi
PS – There’s no rule that says you have to kill a certain number of characters per season. Maybe you could scale back on that a bit in the future?
PPS – Forget I said that. Elle and Sylar need to die.
I came across this gem of a commercial this morning on TNT. I love that the guy is using code words like “regular” while the not-so-subtle imagery is going on in the background. Priceless.

FINALLY made a Jayne Cobb hat for myself, after making several for friends. This one is a little smaller with smaller earflaps, so it doesn’t look quite as goofy. It’s already goofy enough. The goofy face is because I was trying to take a picture in the mirror and didn’t want to look completely emo.
I’m a bit late on this, but SciFi’s run of the new Doctor Who started on Friday. I caught an episode at Dragon*Con last year and really enjoyed it, so I’ll be watching it. I need something to quell the Battlestar cravings until October.
