I found this little gem on Wikipedia when googling “OOC” yesterday. I just got the first book from the library and between finding out that the author went to BYU and this I’m a little frightened to start reading it.

I need a recommendation for a good gaming news site. My requirements are simple:
1) Up to date news
2) No console bias or favoritism
3) Doesn’t include upskirt photos of PVC figurines or other such nonsense
I’ve tried several sites over the past few months and have had problems with all of them. Please, I need to get my gaming news without wanting to smash my monitor!

That’s it, I’m done reading PVP. I’ve been getting more and more irritated with it lately, and this picture of the newest comic cover did it for me. Yes, I know that all of the characters in the comic are stereotypes, as it is in most comic strips. But it still squicks me out when women are used in a mainly decorative role. The artist made this big deal a few weeks ago that the main female character was going to be getting more backstory and character development, and what does he do? A storyline where it’s revealed that she went to juvenile hall in high school. That means we we get lots of oh so funny and original jokes involving girl fights, boobs, and lesbian prison.
I like to stick with stuff that’s actually funny.
