Fresh Fish Served Daily

Thanks to everybody for the birthday wishes! I started my birthday weekend off on Thursday night with a midnight showing of Repo! The Genetic Opera. I was pretty tired at work on Friday but it was worth it. If you’re in one of the seven cities it’s playing, go see it. It’s over the top, hilarious, and snarky. I loved it, and may actually try and see it again before the run is over. Then we went out for a nice dinner twice, on both Friday and Saturday. Friday we tried out the restaurant run by the culinary school near us. The food was top notch, and the service was good (even though that poor guy was pretty nervous). Saturday we went to a local place that was spectacular. It’s one of those places where the menu changes daily depending on what ingredients they get, and they use local farms for a lot of it. They even printed a “happy birthday” message on our menus. After dinner we went to the absinthe bar downtown for drinks. I didn’t do much on my actual birthday but play video games, but it was nice to relax a bit.
