It was the whole ‘working hard’ ‘hardly working’ thing.

But come to think of it, that’s really not a pun. I’m going to stand in the corner now.

It just occured to me that you were asking which FF game did she find so enjoyable… I’ll just stay over here in the corner.

Haha, it’s cool. I get confused about that sort of thing all the time.
The Final Fantasy in question is 12. The gambit system lets you set up a group of actions that your characters will do in order, so you don’t have to control every single move. It’s really nice, because my big issue with RPGs in the past has been the micromanaging. I mean, if a character takes enough damage I’m going to cast Cure, so why not have it do it automatically? You still have plenty of stuff to do in battle and plenty of strategy.
You also don’t have random encounters, there are just enemies running around, so it looks a bit more like a regular adventure game. I’m enjoying it so much I might give some of the other ones another chance in the future. I actually picked up a copy of Crystal Chronicles today, which I’ve been wanting to try out for a while (mainly because it’s the only one for the Cube, AND you can play with up to 4 players and Dane and I are always on the lookout for good 2-player games).
