progress report
Posted in fangirl, gaming on 03/22/2007 10:59 am by sushiIn case you were wondering, I am still alive. The reason you don’t hear much from me anymore is that thing I mentioned in my previous post. I am slowly wearing a small crater the exact shape of my butt into the couch as I play as much FFXIII as possible. We hit 85 hours last night. I am told this is somewhat unusual, as 85-100 hours is closer to a full-on finished every little side mission in the game COMPLETION time for your usual FF game, and my best guess tells me we are only somewhere around two thirds of the way through the main story. I think I’m being pretty thorough, on top of the fact that this one is longer than the previous incarnations.
Once we finish there’s a copy of Crystal Chronicles waiting. I’ve heard that two player mode is really fun, but as I only have one GBA at the moment and the DS is not fit for GBA cables that will have to wait on a favorable initial analysis of the game in general.
Otherwise, I’ve been slowly working on costume stuff for the con this year. It’s always a bit hard to motivate me to get out the sewing machine, but once it’s out I tend to work for hours at a time. I really wanted to make this year the year that I finally start my costumes early, and not just a week before the con. Currently I’m still in the planning stages for several ideas, but I am almost to the fabric cutting portion of one. I will probably post cryptic updates with pictures in the future.
