Fresh Fish Served Daily

Been playing PoP3, and let me just say that my faith in Ubisoft has been restored. I only played the second one for about half an hour, but I was not impressed at all. It just wasn’t as fun as the original. The third one has a much darker tone, but the fun is back. Fighting and movement is once again a joy. The ability to avoid battle with a stealthy kill. And don’t get me started on how freaking cool the Dark Prince is. Anyone who likes adventure games should at least give this one a shot.

I also had a conversation the other day about the combat system in the original Prince of Persia. The gist of it was that the other party thought the combat was boring, because you didn’t have to do too much work. I guess I’m not a “serious gamer” or something. I loved the combat because it was relatively simple…I’d rather have fun with my games, and if I have to do too much fiddling around to get my character to kill something I usually just get irritated. This is why I’m not very good at fighting or FPS games.
