Fresh Fish Served Daily

I picked up everything I need to make a Totoro costume this weekend. I’m not sure if I am going to attempt to get it done in time for Halloween or just take my time on it and use it for a Con in the future. After a bit of searching I found a perfect gray fleecey material and some ivory fuzzy stuff for the belly. I have a pattern for the main part of the body, but I’m going to have to improvise for the boot covers and the arm warmers.

I also finished sewing my curtains this weekend. I used a navy blue linen blend, so they are nice and thick and keep the light out. Unfortunately they shrunk in the wash, so I lost about two inches of length on the bottom. That just means I have to stick with the tension rods I’m using rather than switching to a real curtain rod.

I realized that I need more time in the day. I have at least two boxes full of fabric I bought for specific projects that I need to get started on.
