Fresh Fish Served Daily

Last weekend when eating with some friends at Umezono (an authentic Japanese restaurant in Marietta) they showed me the coolest Japanese grocery store. The hirigana name is Tomato. Apparently it’s something of a chain. There are two locations that I know of, the one at Umezono and one attached to Sushi Yoko, not ten minutes from my place in Norcross. Anyway, we stuffed our pockets full of many flavors of Pocky and frozen daifuku. I stopped by the one at Sushi Yoko last night to grab more treats. The book and magazine section is ENORMOUS. Wish I could read more Japanese. Looks like there will be another run tonight after trying out the Sushi Yoko, but unfortunately no frozen treats this time since we’re going to see Secret Window afterwards. Maybe I’ll start getting some actual food there, once I figure out a Japanese dish I want to try and cook.
