But if your server supports large files; whats the problem? Although scp is the way. Or interoffice p2p. Or burns of course.

The problem is that most places don’t support files that size, and even though it got through it still made my inbox painfully slow for about 5 minutes until it downloaded fully.

Awww… someone is already damning those in positions above her.
Course, it would have been more prudent to slap it on a public file share and send you a link to the file, emailing large attachments while in the office shouldnt destroy anything. That being said. We limit attachments to 15MB at the most to keep dumbshits from trying to email CD images and bullshit like that aroudn to everyone.
Some fartknocker in our Tokyo office tried to email himself a VCD image once. When it didnt show up immediately he tried to send it 6 more times, thus taking down like 3 exchange servers between Tokyo and Atlanta.
Surprisingly, he still works with us.
