Man, I’ve been finding imports like mad this week. We tried out Mojib Ribbon last night, and I like it even more than Vib Ripple. You play Mojiburi, a little rapper with a crazy hat. He walks around a circular ring of clouds that contains a sentence in katakana. As you hit the beginning of a word, you push up on the right control stick to make Mojiburi dip his brush in ink, then down when you want him to write the word. If you don’t push up long enough the word will be barely readable, and if you push up too long it’ll be a blobby mess of ink. At the end of the word you let go of the stick, otherwise he’ll smudge the last letter. Once you’re done with the sentence, hit up at the triangular period marker and zoom up to the next phrase. Make your way through all of the phrases and you’ve finished the song. One of the coolest things is that Mojiburi will rap the words as you write them using a weird speak and spell kind of voice.
