dancing, drumming, and a clump of stuff

Thanks to Zannah I went by the Gamestop over lunch to get a copy of Katamari Damacy, another one of those games of pure madness that I so enjoy. While I was there I noticed that DDR Extreme USA was out. (How did I miss that?) I played a little over lunch and I imagine there will be a mass converging at my house tonight to try it out. Highlights so far include Move Your Feet by Junior Senior (complete with the insane video of pixellated squirrels smacking nuts with hammers and happy toast flying out of toasters), my favorite BT song (Somnambulist), and several old school DDR songs that haven’t been on a home version yet. I’m not sure if I’m going to buy the eye toy to try out the strange new features or not, but at least I’ll be doing a bit more exercise for a while.

The next game I want is Donkey Konga. Gamestop had a demo set up, but I only get an hour for lunch so I had to forgo a test run in favor of food and some dancing. That game looks super fun, and I’m always happy to expand my collection of weird specialized controllers.

  2. This looks by all means to be a cool game. It also seems cheap. It seems like everyone in my small world who games even a little has picked up the game and loved it.

  4. Hee hee! Welcome to my readership! That makes number 5, or thereabouts. ;p

See, this is why I made sure to get a first floor apartment. Occasionally annoying upstairs neighbors are a small price to pay for DDR at home.
