As I was longingly looking at the Donkey Konga bongo drums at EB games on Sunday the counter slave informed me that the game comes with a free controller. My ears perked up, as I am used to buying a $40-50 game and then shelling out extra for the special controller. I succumbed to the urge and bought a copy, $50 for game AND controller.

The songs are all covers, as I suppose it’s cheaper to get a random guy to sing the song than to buy rights to the actual song. Oddly the music is still almost exactly the same, so they sound like karaoke renditions. Most of the songs lend themselves well to beating on a bongo, even though they couldn’t be considered “latin” music. The weirdest choice was probably Crystal Method’s “Busy Child”.
